Long Beach Auto Lights Repair
Your vehicle’s Lights and Signals aren’t something most people think about when they jump into their car, truck or SUV and head off to work on Long Beach’s busy morning freeways and streets. After all, your lights are outside your vehicle, and you may not even know if they’re working until it starts getting dark. Some vehicles have sensors that show a warning message or light when you have a broken light, but for many vehicles, you need to stay alert and occasionally check them yourself. Unlike the headlights, you may not notice when you have a nonfunctional tail light, brake light, or signal. Some vehicles will show an erratic blinker dash light when you signal a turn. An easy way to check on your own is to turn on the hazard lights and then go outside your vehicle to check, but brake lights aren’t as easy to check without the help of a friend.
One of the more common Auto Lights Repairs is brakes lights and turn signal failure which is usually just a burned out bulb. Unfortunately, glass bulbs all burn out sooner or later, which is a reality for all of us. other factors are time and the elements that will wear your bulbs down and inevitably lead to failure. You can always keep a set of replacement bulbs on hand in your car witch will keep you legal and safe on the road.
If you’ve replaced your bulbs and the problem is still there, you may have a short in the light or signal’s wiring. Or one of the pins could be burned or melted, causing a slight voltage irregularity which may even trigger a check engine light. If you replaced all of your bulbs and they still don’t function, or you have a check engine light, check all of your wire connections closely and see if you have any abnormalities.
If your turn signals stops working or works intermittently, you should use hand signals until you can get them fixed to avoid getting a ticket or in an accident. Turn signal mechanics are a bit more complicated than headlights or taillights since they involve switching on and off, so if you are experiencing problems with your turn signal, it would be best to have one of our Orozco’s Auto Service ASE Certified Technicians check your vehicle to diagnose the problem, fix it, and reset all lights and warnings.
